Why We Believe in the Return of Christ

This promise points beyond escape from the world to the renewal of creation. Scripture presents a future in which God dwells with His people, wipes away tears, and makes all things new. Christian hope is therefore both heavenly and embodied: it anticipates resurrection life in God’s restored creation.
